Hi!! Every once in a while I start getting hit in my mind with, “What are you writing for? You don’t have anything to say that anyone doesn’t already know!!” Ha! What came to me this morning is, “Turn it around!!”
Im not really able to do that without strength from God, but I can choose what I want to think about anything, right? Well today I choose to turn those crazy lies around!! I can write if I want, and actually I enjoy it so why not do it?
There have been many things in my life that could have been very hideous if I hadn’t made the decision to turn my thinking around. When you go through different hard things, it’s very easy to get stuck in stinking thinking and get beat down. If you make the decision to SHIFT and turn things around…you can overcome in many ways!!
I don’t think we realize sometimes just how negative we can be. I can remember the day exactly, that I got more determined about overcoming and thinking differently. It’s very easy to fall back and stop doing it too. You have to be intentional about it!! It’s not what our mind will automatically do!!
What I actually did when I started thinking like that the last time was to actually take an online webinar class!! I saw how a young lady was teaching about putting your blogs on Pinterest. Wow, that was something new for me. It opened a whole new world I hadn’t learned about yet. I’ve just tapped into maybe making an ecourse and actually selling stuff…
Im learning a new thing, that’s a turn around from starting to think I’m not doing anyone any good. You get it? That’s what I mean about changing your thinking!! Now it’s all exciting again and I’m plunging into new areas!! That is the way our whole life can be!! Opportunities are endless!!
Can you think of a way you can turn your thinking around? Different opportunities? Different perspectives? Start researching things…get around different surroundings!! I’ve got my thinking cap on now, praying for more creativity from above. Our brains can expand bigger!!
Are there any ways that you are staying too small? Plunge in and think bigger!! Think differently!! Make a difference for other people!! Help others change their mindsets too!! We ALL can use a SHIFT to help us get back on track!!

Good word Jill. I was struggling (fighting my thoughts) on Sunday and that very verse came to mind: Take every thought captive. Sometimes it’s easier said than done, but if we don’t fight against our own thinking, we can end up mired in negativity, down, and depressed. So we’ve got to keep combating our own flawed thoughts. Love you sis! I’m so glad you decided to pursue writing! 💙
