The Father’s Voice

I have had a busy summer and many different things have happened. If you’ve been here a while you would know that Marty and I were to be qualified to work for a Healing House Network.

We had been going the direction of designing our own brand after I published a book, and the coach that I was working with suddenly came down with a brain tumor.

One night I had a dream and I saw a “Y” in the road and knew that we were supposed to go another direction. I automatically thought this meant toward the Healing House Network. We started doing everything that we could to pursue it, along with a financial blessing from someone to help.

We would have been having people sent to us and we would minister to them. One morning before the sweet lady came to our home I started crying in the shower and my heart was for the region that we live in. I’ve lived here for 15 years and I’ve seen the hardship and struggles that some of the folks have here. Every region has their own struggles.

I’m thankful for the freedom that Marty and I have received, through Restoring the Foundations and Recovery Meetings, along with our Pastor and Church so that we can survive and thrive here. The lady that was my coach did pass away but I learned many things from her and she had so much encouragement and belief in what we represent.

I started thinking that morning that we were supposed to stay connected with our Pastor and our Church and concentrate on anyone in this region that needs help. The couple that got ministry while we were being “qualified” have changed lives now and we are so grateful for that.

The day after we made the decision to stay connected with our Pastor we received a financial blessing that paid for all money that we had paid for coaching, courses, qualifying and anything else that we had spent money for. We got a pontoon boat too. We just had to have fun in our process.

I’ve learned along the way that many things are just “stepping stones” toward the real picture and that’s what these things had been. Another door had been closed. It takes a minute (or months) sometimes to process what has been going on.

Sure enough another piece of the puzzle has shown up. I had just been introduced to another ministry very similar to what we had been going through and was taking a course, along with writing a 3rd book. I was talking a lot about memories and emotions in my book when I got an email from this new ministry telling me that they had been working on a course about healing emotions for a year.

Well, I had already been involved in classes, coaches, courses and anything else you can think of and Marty was about to the end of his rope with it and didn’t want to get debt rolling again after it had just been paid off. I listened to some of the free sessions and it talked a lot about meditation and healing emotions and actually walking through these meditations to get free and hear your Father’s voice.

I finally convinced him that I HAD to do this and I must say that it’s the wisest $97 dollars that I ever spent. I am still not to the end of the course but I have seen an example of what I have in my heart to do. Oh and the $97 didn’t get us in any debt anyway.

I have always been a hairstylist and interested in spa related things and this brings many things together for me…healing spiritually, physically and emotionally… that’s been my dream that God put in my heart forever. Another tool in our belt. I was excited to hear that they are in good relationship with the other ministry that we had been involved in.

I am going to try to put an example of what I’m doing on here, this is just a baby step of it all, but it’s a stepping stone.
