Something that I’ve learned early on is to adjust and go with what is going on. If things seem crazy and chaotic, I’ve had to see what all I could learn from the situation. Mostly I’ve had to learn how much my Father is large and in charge of everything.
If things feel too huge for me, I’ve had to learn to Let go and Let God handle it. These things may sound like little cliche quotes, but in a time of need and despair they are powerful.
I’m not talking about just some little fluffy things here guys! I’m talking about letting go in huge life or death situations and times when you or someone that you know can be going down the tubes! Yes I’ve been through many things like that or know friends or family members that have and my Father has come through every single time, right on time!
Fear is a liar! False evidence appearing real is so, so true! I have had to stay away from false things so that I could have peace in my heart and soul! Many things being presented to us may be false about ourselves or even about others so I just keep my mind on my Father.
“Be prepared. You’re up against far more than you can handle on your own. Take all the help you can get, every weapon God has issued, so that when it’s all over but the shouting you’ll still be on your feet. Truth, righteousness, peace, faith, and salvation are more than words. Learn how to apply them. You’ll need them throughout your life. God’s Word is an indispensable weapon. In the same way, prayer is essential in this ongoing warfare. Pray hard and long. Pray for your brothers and sisters. Keep your eyes open. Keep each other’s spirits up so that no one falls behind or drops out.”
Ephesians 6:13-18 MSG
The Bible has many words of peace, truth and comfort. My Father is always full of love for me. He always makes a way of escape for me. He never favors any person over another. We all just have different walks in life. We have different stories to tell. We have different ways that we are to help others.
My stories are of many calamities and overcoming them. Overcoming to the place of thriving is the most exciting thing that can happen! Learning how to not live in self pity when bad things happen, but turning them around to good!
Many things got accomplished while I have been walking through tremendous trials and it wasn’t always me doing it! It was a power greater than myself working through me!
I think that you will find through history, some of the most powerful people were ones that endured much persecution, adversity, and trauma but yet kept going!
