Expectations

Wow do you ever see how what we expect to happen can get in the way of what truly happens. We have to learn to turn our expectations off. That is so very hard to do!!

We have a picture in our mind of things going a certain way and getting excited about it, only to have it go a different way. Sometimes we get surprised for the good, sometimes we get surprised for the bad.

We just have to learn to roll with life, and roll with things in life. Just because something SEEMS bad for us doesn’t mean that it IS bad for us. Just because we seem to be held in a hard pattern for a season doesn’t mean we will be there forever.

God is large and in charge of everything!! He can make a way where there is no way!! He can make something out of nothing!! He has done it many times. We always need to stay in relationship with Him and hear His still small voice. Even in the face of adversity and opposition!! He is the voice of truth.

We don’t have to act like everything is fine if it isn’t. We have to learn how to deal with things!! We have to learn how to face reality but have faith also!! Sometimes it seems so hard to understand how to do that. It’s a fine line to act like something doesn’t exist (which is denial) and to actually deal with what is going on and have faith doing it. Make sense?

An example is, if your body needs healing, you don’t just say that the illness is not there, you do everything possible to help bring your body to healing and trust God for the things that you can’t possibly do. Sometimes He shows up and zaps that thing gone, sometimes He doesn’t. That is when we just have to trust that He knows more about our life than we do…Lots of times just that trust can bring healing in many ways.

Many times there are solutions in life that we don’t understand. We want it to go one way but God is showing us another way. I encourage you to just keep listening to the voice of truth. Don’t give up!! He will make a road in The wilderness, He will make a way where there is no way. He will provide a way of escape!!

Don’t give up❤️

He will make a way ❤️

He knows all❤️

We don’t ❤️

Enjoy your day ❤️

See you soon❤️

Peace in the storm

So glad that one of the things I have learned in all of my calamities and “storms” of life is to have peace while going through. I can’t say that I don’t have some feelings, and I can’t say that it’s not scary and rocky, but it is well with my soul.

That’s one of the best things about having a Heavenly Father, He takes the load off. If your Heavenly Father isn’t doing that for you, you don’t understand Him. He’s like a good, good Father with open arms. He’s not mad at you, He loves you.

That’s why it’s so good to rest in Him and be peaceful in the midst of the storm. It calms everything down…it’s calms you down and everyone around you down.

I’m really grateful to have learned those tools in recovery. I don’t have to fix everything, I don’t have to worry about everything. I can back off from things that don’t serve me well. There are solutions in life.

As I get ready to launch my book, there are obstacles every day. I try to focus on all the things I am learning and the things I have accomplished instead of the things that are hard and seeming to trip me up. It’s amazing that I’ve even got this far.

I have found that if I am aligned properly and doing what I am called to do, there is peace, peace that passes all understanding. There’s no place that I would rather be. I would have never made it without it. It’s for anyone, for free.

I hope that you can sit down today and let it all go and let God do His thing in you. You are worth it and He loves you.

Be still…❤️

He’s got this…❤️

You don’t have to do it all…❤️

Just rest…❤️

See you soon❤️
